BCM Bolt Carrier Group MPI – Auto – Flat Dark Earth-IB (BCM BCG FDE) comes fully assembled and offers lower friction and cleans easier than standard carriers. Works best when combined with a thin layer of lubrication at all times.
Finding quality bolt carriers for M4, M16, and AR15 platforms can be a challenge. This unit, however, features an exceptional Parkerized finished for increased durability, plus a chrome-lined interior. The entire unit is machined to current USGI specifications and includes a Mil-Spec gas key which is heat-treated and chrome-lined. Hardening of all the parts improves gas system functioning.
Just like other BCM Bolt Carrier Groups, this Ion Bonded Flat Dark Earth version is properly test fired before shipping. The product you receive, therefore, will show handling marks and other signs of light use when it arrives.
Lastly, this unit also features a bolt assembly made of Mil-Spec Carpenter No. 158 steel. BCM shot peens this for higher tensile strength.
